Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Aswan

  • Welcome and Transfer: Upon your arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative who will assist you with the formalities. You will then be transferred via a modern air-conditioned coach to the Temple of Isis on Philae Island, a renowned pilgrimage site in ancient Egypt.

  • Temple of Philae: Explore this beautifully preserved temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and learn about its historical significance.

  • Nile Cruise Check-in: After your temple visit, you will check into your cruise ship for a three-night stay with full board.

  • Onboard Experience: Enjoy lunch on board, followed by a scenic Felucca ride on the Nile River in the afternoon. Experience the tranquility of the water and take in the stunning landscapes.

  • Dinner and Overnight: Savor a delicious dinner on board before settling in for the night on the cruise.

Day 2: Aswan to Kom Ombo and Edfu

  • Morning Cruise: After breakfast, the cruise ship sets sail towards Kom Ombo, approximately 45 kilometers from Aswan.

  • Visit Kom Ombo Temple: Discover the unique twin temples dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. The temple’s distinct architecture offers insight into ancient Egyptian religious practices.

  • Continue to Edfu: Enjoy lunch on board as you cruise towards Edfu.

  • Afternoon Activities: Experience Egyptian tea on board before arriving in Edfu. Visit the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god.

  • Evening at Leisure: After exploring, return to the ship, enjoy dinner, and spend the night aboard as the cruise heads towards Esna.

Day 3: Luxor and the Valley of the Kings

  • Morning Exploration: After breakfast, prepare for a visit to the West Bank of Luxor. Explore the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit three royal tombs (note: the Tomb of Tutankhamun requires an additional ticket).

  • Colossi of Memnon: Marvel at the two massive statues of Amenhotep III, standing 19.5 meters tall, and learn about their historical significance.

  • Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: Visit this remarkable mortuary temple, known for its impressive architecture and stunning colonnades.

  • Return to the Cruise: Enjoy lunch on board before heading to the East Bank to visit the Karnak Temple, a vast complex dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

  • Luxor Temple: Conclude your day with a visit to the magnificent Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III around 1420 BC.

  • Dinner and Overnight: Return to the ship for dinner and relax for the night as you reflect on the day’s discoveries.

Day 4: Departure from Luxor

  • Final Breakfast: Enjoy your last breakfast on board before checking out.

  • Transfer to Airport: After checking out, you will be transferred to the airport or train station in Luxor for your onward journey.
