8 Days, 7 Nights

Three nights in Cairo (4-star hotel), two nights in Luxor (5-star hotel), and two nights in Aswan (4-star hotel).

 

On this week-long cruise, you can visit some of the most iconic sites in Egypt, such as the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. You will also have the chance to explore the ancient city of Aswan, with its beautiful temples and picturesque landscapes.

Well-chosen 4/5 star hotels, departure any day of the week, full board from the day of arrival.


Important note: the tour includes Abu Simbel, which is generally sold separately for 150 Euro per person.

First Day: Arrival

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative greets you and assists you in collecting your luggage outside the airport before transferring to the 5-star hotel—dinner and overnight.

The second day: Pyramids, Dahshur, Saqqara.

Breakfast at the hotel, then tour the Pyramids and Sphinx, followed by a visit to the Papyrus Institute. Visit the Pyramids of Dahshur and Saqqara to witness the oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid. Visit a tomb shaped like a mastaba. During the tour, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner in the hotel.

The third day: Cairo/Luxor.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark for Luxor on a scheduled flight. Visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Transfer to your five-star luxury ship. Check in and have lunch. The afternoon is free. Dinner onboard.


Day Four: Luxor – Thebes Necropolis

Wake up early, eat breakfast, and tour Thebes' necropolis (Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Two Colossi of Memnon) and an alabaster factory to watch the process.

As soon as you return, the ship cruises to Esna (60 kilometers away), passes through its lock and goes on to Edfu. Lunch and dinner on board.

 

The fifth day: Edfu/Kom Ombo.

After breakfast, visit the well-preserved temple of the falcon god Horus in Edfu. Upon returning from the excursion, the ship resumes navigation towards the city of Kom Ombo, where you will visit its temple, which is dedicated to the worship of two deities: the god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek. Following the visit, the ship will proceed to the city of Aswan. Lunch and dinner on board.


Day 6: Nile Cruise: Aswan to Abu Simbel

After breakfast, accompany the local guide on a land tour of the majestic temples of Abu Simbel, which is 280 kilometers from Aswan. You will be provided with a packed lunch.

The afternoon is free. Dinner onboard.

 

Seventh day: Aswan

Breakfast and check-out from the cruise. Visit the Philae Temple, the modern Aswan Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Check in to a five-star hotel. Lunch in the hotel.

In the afternoon, take a Felucca on the Nile (sailing boat). Visit to the Nubian Village (optional). Dinner on board the cruise and overnight.



The seventh day: Aswan/Marsa Alam.

After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Cairo airport.
