Nile Cruise – From Luxor including Sightseeing
Nile Cruise trip from Luxor, Egypt. The trip duration is 5 days, starting and ending in Luxor.​
Day 1: Monday: Cairo-Luxor East/Domestic Flight (Cruise, Night 1: Full Board)Arriving at Luxor Airport, our representative will greet and assist you. Transfer by modern vehicle to Luxor's East Bank. You will tour the Karnak Temple, one of Thebes' largest ancient buildings and sanctuaries devoted to the Theban Triad Amon, Mut, and Khonsu. Several rulers erected it at various times, including Senusret I, Amenhotep III, Ramesses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and Tuthmosis III. The complex has multiple pylons, courtyards, columns, obelisks, sanctuaries, and a sacred lake. Return to the cruise. Sail to Edfu and pass through the Esna Lock, which was completed in 1906. At dusk, you will see the lit Temple of Luxor, a magnificent ancient temple erected by Amenhotep III (about 1420 BC) and expanded by Ramses II (approximately 1240 BC). Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight on a cruise.​

Day 2: Tuesday- West Luxor - Esna (Cruise, night 2; full board)After breakfast, you will begin your sightseeing tour of Luxor by visiting the West of Luxor, which contains the Valley of the Rulers on the western side of the Nile; it is the necropolis of great Thebes rulers from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. You can see three royal tombs (except for the Tomb of Tutankhamon, which requires an additional ticket; with limited numbers in the day, please discuss us it). Then you will arrive at the Two Colossi of Memnon, which belong to the Pharaoh Amenhotep III from the 18th dynasty. Each colossus stands 19.5 meters tall and is carved from a single block of quartzite stone. After that, go to the El Deir El Bahari Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built of limestone and has a beautiful design and ornamentation. Return to the cruise for check-in. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight on a cruise.​

Day 3: Wednesday - Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan (Cruise, Night 3: Full Board)After breakfast, you will travel to Edfu (approximately 140 kilometers from Aswan) to explore the Temple of Horus, which was rebuilt during the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BC and dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Lunch on board. Continue our travel to Kom Ombo, which is approximately 45 miles from Aswan. You will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, also known as the temple of Hor-Wer (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (the Crocodile God) in ancient Egyptian mythology. The temple is distinctive for its twofold design, which is divided between the two gods. Navigation to Aswan. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on a cruise.​
Day 4: Thursday - Aswan/The High Dam - Temple of Isis in Philae (Cruise, night 4; full board)Have your breakfast on board, and then prepare to see the High Dam of Aswan, one of Egypt's outstanding projects, which was inaugurated in 1971. It provides Egypt with water and energy while also protecting the country from the devastating flood of the Nile River. After that, view the magnificence of the Isis Temple on Philae Island, which was a site of pilgrimage in ancient Egypt and the cult of Isis. The temple is the island's greatest monument and was built by King Ptolemy II in the third century. Return to the cruise for lunch. Afternoon, take a Felucca ride on the Nile. In the evening, Dinner will be provided. Overnight on Cruise.
​Day 5: Friday - Aswan - Cairo / Domestic Flight (Breakfast)After breakfast, check out and transfer to Aswan Airport to embark in the next destination.
